The mission of the Sunshine Slopers Ski & Travel Club   for our youths is to follow in the footsteps of the National Brotherhood of Skiers.

“To identify, develop and support athletes of color who will WIN international and Olympic winter sports competitions representing the United States and to increase participation in winter sports.”

As a club, we have expanded that mission to include sponsoring youth who has never skied before (aka “Never~Evers”), to participate in the Boston Ski Club YouthFest or the NBS Summit by raising funds through FUNdraising events and sponsorship.

Our training has included Virtual Snow, where our youth simulates skiing on the “carpet” by trained professionals as well as “in-house” training coaches.
